In the fall of 2003, GTAC initiated its Water Safety program for children in primary grades. Using Coach Kennedy's bulldog Brutus as the focus of the program (because bulldogs cannot swim), GTAC offers a complete water safety curriculum, ending with a visit to the classroom by Coach Kennedy and Brutus. As Brutus says in his poster to the children: "Be water safe and learn how to swim!"
